Holy smokes! You’ve kept at it for five months with the Lactina? Wowzers. I hated that thing, and was so thrilled to trade it in for a Medela Symphony. It made all the difference in the world. My poor Pump in Style Advanced hardly got used. Congratulations on the milestone!

Hooray! I am always impressed that there is a picture of every single day. I really don’t know how you managed it. Michael gave up after a couple months and we only have the one.

Food is so much fun. There is nothing to homemade baby food – an immersion blender (blender on a stick) was the key for us. A covered ice cube tray was also very handy.

What a great post, Rachel! Seriously…I always knew you guys were rockstar parents, but spending the night and really seeing the routine just confirmed it. Those two babies are just spectacular and I can’t wait to come back and see you all! xo

Hello Rachel! It really does get better. Seeing their little personalities develop daily is one of the coolest things about this age.

On a side note, Eloise and Julian are two of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen. I know y’all stop traffic wherever you go. My girls and I enjoy seeing their daily pictures.

I’ve been wondering about when you were going back to work. It won’t be easy but you’ll adjust. I can tell you my really bad first day back story (after you’ve gone back) that will make you feel like yours was wonderful – I promise.
I actually used the low end pump while I was home and then switched to the professional grade one when I went back to work. It was quite a site in the break room in those days.
