Tooth
May 1st, 2009 by rachel
Eloise has her first tooth! We’ve been monitoring its slow ascent, and this morning I poked my finger in her mouth and encountered enamel. Good bye, sweet gummy grins (sob)!
As per tradition, Eloise has given the Tooth Fairy a dollar, which will be returned to her with interest when this tooth falls out in six years. Baby’s first investment!
Pictures to come eventually, although right now there’s not much to see. Give it a few days and I’m sure you’ll start seeing her new big-girl smiles in the daily photos.

So now the kid is packing heat, eh? Watch out.
And as I recall, the full burden of both principal and interest payments for your own Tooth Fairy transactions was borne by your struggling parents. Can I assume we’ll soon be receiving a sizeable rebate?
maybe you need some of these to keep track of tooth-related-transactions or something?

best wishes for the remainder of the teething!
oh my gosh! eloise. I can’t even believe it. I just got a little weepy over this one. I tried to email you tonight, Rachel, but gmail is acting up, so more tomorrow — but yay for this milestone! I can’t wait to see the pictures.
That’s amazing! Caleb didn’t get his first tooth until he was almost a year.
