The Hardest Button To Button

I often find myself, in my head, mixing up Zutano, a maker of fine baby clothes, with Zumpano. Still, I have to think if Carl Newman started a line of baby clothes, he’d know that they should have snaps, not buttons. Have you ever tried to fasten a button on the neck of a squirming baby?

Or, you could just do as Jeff does, and pretend you do not see those buttons by the shoulder, though you have outfitted a child in THAT EXACT SHIRT or similar umpteen times. Then later, when called on the gaping neckhole, exclaim innocently, “oh, are there buttons there? I did not see them. Huh.”
