First Steps, Part Deux

Julian can walk! Not with great confidence yet, but he can successfully perform what I might call bursts of waddling.
With Eloise confidently doing laps around the downstairs (no, seriously: you’ll hear little footsteps, and there she’ll come around the corner, arms over her head and face split in a grin) it’s definitely time to buckle down and finish baby-proofing the hell out of the place.

All right, Julian! That’s my funny boy!
Eloise has perfected the victory lap, and Julian has perfected the drunken stagger. I hope only one of those is predictive.
Well, Julian does have The Cheeks to deal with. It can’t be easy. Walk on, Julian!
And do you think it will occur to Eloise that she needed her arms in the air only when she was holding the hands of the adults who were helping her learn to walk? I kind of hope not.
Congratulations, Julian! Yay!
Yeehah! I cannot wait to see them!!!
i remember the drunken stagger! in some ways, it’s still a part of avi’s repertoire… wait until you seem him run. (other people still cringe.)
anyway, this will make it that much more interesting when we visit. we can’t wait to seem them.
Hm. An interesting claim. But despite Matt’s (always evocative) writing, I fear I am not persuaded, and will require video documentation of said staggering. Throw in the victory laps too, for good measure, ok?
Go, Julian, go!! This is so exciting, but I, too, require video documentation.
