I find it funny that it includes condoms. Not the first thing I would think of to put in a “welcome the new baby” gift box.

wow! i’m planning to start ttc this summer, and now i’m thinking maybe i need to check out the job market in finland and make an international move! i hear it’s pretty sweeeeet to have babies in france, too. hmmmm…btw, i just stumbled upon your blog today, but i’m thoroughly enjoying the practicality peppered with humor and wit! also, your kids are supercuteness!! kudos!

I cannot really believe that you remember all this. That entire year of my life is a blur. But for any expectant twins parents out there, I would add that you need two slings/baby carriers, for those times when you are taking walks with the babies together. if you are a handy person and can figure out how to correctly tie a moby and install two babies in it (far more than I ever even attempted) so much the better. otherwise, two Kangaroo Korner pouches, and two Ergos/becos should do you.

I love this post. It so captures the joy of parenting a toddler. I don’t know you guys personally, but I’ve been enjoying following your family blog because my daughter is a few months younger than the twins, so it’s like a peek at where she will be.

Anyway, the language acquisition part of kids is always the most fun to me, so I enjoy hearing about your kiddos’ language quirks.

Hey, this post was all kinds of awesome! it’s like getting a Rachel email…from Matt. I especially like knowing that Julian is a “how ’bout..” kind of kid. We get that one a ton from Elly, along with the ever-helpful “Don’t forget Elly!” (pronounced Eddy, because her ls still come out as ds.)
